The Roof Razor is the solution to Section J metal roofing that will save you time, money and hassle.
The Roof Razor will not change the way you lay deck. Simply put the Roof Razor on top of the glass wool or polyester, fix it to the purlin with the pre-loaded screws, and lay your roof sheet as you normally would. The patent pending design suits any type of roof sheet (concealed or pierced fix) and is fully tested and certified for use.
It’s wide enough to walk on, extremely fast to fix, and the fixings are pre-loaded with top access. It’s called the Roof Razor because it slices through the wool to give you a sturdy connection to the purlin.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, for Australian roof designs. The Roof Razor is available in two heights, to suit insulation of up to 145mm thick.
The vertical screw guides that support the batten are sharp enough to slice through the
building blanket. This means there is no fully compressed wool at the join.
With the safety mesh pulled tight, the Roof Razor allows insulation to recover to its full nominal thickness between the purlins. The screw guides part the wool and connect directly to the purlin, this is the only Australian system that can do this. This means that there is no squashed insulation at the join, and no risk of the Roof Razor coming loose over time with vibration and thermal expansion/contraction.
